Samir Gupta

Samir Gupta is a Graduate Research Assistant at Scope Lab developing dynamic decision procedures for real-time autonomous cyber-physical systems. His research focuses on enabling autonomous systems to make fast, safe decisions in dynamic environments where conditions change rapidly and consequences of decisions are significant.

Real-time autonomous systems require algorithms that can compute high-quality decisions within strict computational and time constraints. Samir’s work combines optimization, machine learning, and control theory to create decision procedures that autonomous systems can execute reliably and safely in the field.
